Cumberland County Children’s Theatre is a Maine nonprofit offering high quality, accessible theater programming for kids ages 5–17.
We currently produce one show per year, with auditions in December and 6 shows in the spring.
Our Story
Cumberland County Children’s Theatre (CCCT) was formed in 2020 following the COVID-related closure of Fiddlehead Center for the Arts in Gray, Maine.
In March of 2020, a necessary response to the COVID-19 pandemic closed Fiddlehead’s production of James and the Giant Peach, Jr., a week prior to opening weekend. Later in the year, COVID also drove a permanent closure of Fiddlehead Center, which had been offering children’s arts and enrichment for more than 18 years.
